After an edition with results that exceeded all expectations, with 22 thousand visitors in 3 days, MIDO is warming up for the 2023 edition, the number 51 in person. The appointment for all eyewear professionals is from 4 to 6 February 2023 at Fiera Milano Rho.
“Last year, despite the adversity of the period and the difficulties in international mobility – commented MIDO president Giovanni Vitaloni – we confirmed our ability to be a point of reference in the sector, consolidating MIDO’s role in creating business and ideas. The MIDO show taking place in attendance after two years of stop has instilled optimism and confidence in us and we are working for the next edition to offer operators what they are looking for and what they expect from our show: doing business, with a focus on innovation, creativity, involvement, sharing and opportunities”.
At MIDO 2022 the more than 670 exhibiting companies from 45 countries met visitors and buyers from over 50 countries, mainly from Europe (Greece, France, Spain, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Switzerland) but also from the United States, Israel, Brazil, India, Tunisia, Iran, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
For over 50 years MIDO has been the heart of business and trends in the world of eyewear: in the pavilions set up at Fiera Milano Rho and in the exhibition areas of the Fashion District, Lenses, Design Lab, More !, FAiR East, Lab Academy, Start Up and Tech all the players in the supply chain meet: from manufacturers of frames, lenses and machinery to designers, from large multinationals to small innovative companies, to define new paths, confirm partnerships and sign commercial agreements. Great attention is also dedicated to training and sharing of future trends and scenarios with industry professionals organized in the OttiClub space.
Another tool made available by MIDO to all professionals in the sector is the digital platform https://e8466.hubilo.com/community/#/home, which was implemented to respond to the health crisis and made permanent and active all year long, to organize training workshops, start collaborations between exhibitors and buyers, present the news of your company. A virtual place that supports and reinforces the traditional event in attendance, which is available to all operators in the sector from all over the world.
