EAO x SILMO Academy Spring Session Athens
The HELLENIC ACADEMY OF OPTOMETRY, with its longstanding presence and substantial contribution to lifelong learning initiatives in the field of Optics & Optometry, is organizing a scientific event on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
The scientific event will be hosted at the Athens Campus of the University of West Attica, fostering dynamic interaction among professionals, scientists, and students — the future workforce of the industry — while strengthening connections with the latest developments in the field.
Following last year’s highly successful event, SILMO Paris returns dynamically to Greece as a partner of the HAO, serving as a point of reference for scientific updates, knowledge exchange, and networking, bringing together leading personalities and organizations shaping the present and future of the sector worldwide.
By bringing together distinguished speakers, industry professionals, and academics, participants will have the opportunity to discover new approaches, exchange views, and become part of the ongoing dialogue on optometry and optics.
We are especially honored by the presence of the President of the European Council of Optometry and Optics (ECOO), Ms. Gabrielle Janssen, and the President of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Mr. Stamatios Gatzonis. Alongside numerous esteemed and inspiring speakers, they promise a unique event filled with knowledge and innovation. Simultaneous interpretation in both Greek and English will be provided throughout the event.
This is a highly influential event which, both in terms of scientific interest and visibility, has become a landmark occasion. It is a gathering that no one wishing to maintain an active and strong presence in our sector can afford to miss!
Your participation would be a great honor for us.
