MIDO 2024 is coming back: From 3 to 5 February at Fiera Milano
At MIDO, from 3 to 5 February 2024 at Fiera Milano Rho, the entire eyewear supply
chain will meet to exchange ideas, projects, prospects for the future of the industry
and, above all, to do business and make trade agreements.
Established in 1970 in Milan, MIDO is the leading international exhibition in terms of
number of exhibitors, for being a preview of the collections and novelties of
manufacturers from all over the world, large and small, and, above all, for being an
essential opportunity to do business.
With more than 1,000 exhibitors and visitors from 140 countries, MIDO will
showcase the best the industry has to offer in terms of trends, innovation, design,
sustainability and creativity. Exhibitors are expected from Europe, including France,
Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Central and South
America and Asian countries, to name a few.
For this new edition, the eyewear show has chosen to present an innovative,
intercultural and sophisticated communication campaign that is ahead of its time and explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence, a first in the trade fair sector.
The Mido campaign for 2024, “SPHERES – THE EYEWEAR UNIVERSE“, entrusted to the creative direction of Max Galli in collaboration with Mixer Group, was in fact created by integrating human creativity with the innovative power of AI.
Artificial Intelligence and much more will be discussed at the OTTICLUB, the area
that MIDO dedicates every year to training and information for operators in the
sector. The calendar is still being finalized, but there will be many seminars,
workshops, presentations and conferences with leading speakers from the most
diverse sectors, some of them even from outside the industry.
The conferences of past editions can be reviewed in the Agenda section of the digital platform, which has 12,000 subscribers and is active all year round, available to operators who want to continue to”meet”, albeit virtually, even beyond the in-person event.
Of course the eagerly awaited “Awards” will be confirmed this year: BeStore, which rewards the optical centres that offer the best shopping experience in the “Design”
category and the most excellent customer service in the”Innovation” category;
Stand Up for Green, dedicated to the most sustainable stand; CSE – Certified
Sustainable Eyewear, set up last year in collaboration with ANFAO and Certottica,
which rewards the most environmentally friendly sunglasses, frames and cases.
Registration will soon be open, available in the “Take Part” section of the
